Amy turned 18 yesterday. The wild weather held off long enough for us to have a party for her. She had a great time and really appreciated those people who came even with the cyclone warning hanging over our heads. 
We have cleaned up after the party and battened down the hatches in preparation for Cyclone Ului approaching us, and apparently crossing very near Mackay about 1am tomorrow.
